There is a temple in Ratlam of Madhya Pradesh which has many such mysteries within it. The name of this temple is Mahalakshmi Temple. It is located in Manak (Mahalakshmi Temple Manak) of Ratlam district. This temple is unique because the devotees who come here do not get laddus or any food items as prasad, but are given gold and silver ornaments. It is believed that every devotee who comes to Mahalakshmi temple gets rich from here.

Mahalaxmi Mata’s temple

This temple is of Maa Mahalakshmi. There is a huge crowd of devotees every day. Devotees have a lot of faith in this temple. For this reason, devotees offer ornaments worth crores of rupees to Goddess Mahalakshmi every day here. Apart from this, devotees also offer cash here.

On the occasion of Diwali, the court of Dhan Kuber is held in this temple. During this, Deepotsav is organized in the temple for five days from Dhanteras. The temple is not decorated with flowers but with money and ornaments. In the court of Dhan Kuber, gold and silver ornaments and money are given to the devotees as prasad.

Kuber’s bundle is opened on the day of Dhanteras

The doors of this temple are open 24 hours during Diwali. It is said that on the day of Dhanteras, Kuber’s bundle is opened here for women. Any devotee who comes here is not returned empty handed. The tradition of offering ornaments and money in the temple has been going on for decades. It is believed that in the olden days, the kings here used to offer money and ornaments for the prosperity of the state. This tradition was also carried forward by the devotees and now they too have started offering jewellery, money etc. at the feet of the mother. It is said that by doing this, the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi always remain on her.
