New Delhi. In Manipur, the commanding officer of the Assam Rifles and his family have been ambushed by militants. The attack took place on Saturday morning at 10 am in the area of ​​Shekhan-Behiang police station. According to the information received, the commanding officer of 46 Assam Rifles was going with his family and QRT, when the militants attacked his convoy. According to sources, there is also news of the death of the wife and a child of the commanding officer and 7 soldiers posted in the QRT. However, an official statement has not yet been issued by the army in this regard.
