Up Elections: Congress will start Pratitra convention from tomorrow

New Delhi: In the country’s largest state Uttar Pradesh, assembly elections are to be held in 2022 next year, about which all the political parties are engaged in a ruckus. BJP running the government in the state has also sounded the bugle of elections, while on the other hand the opposition political parties are also not looking behind.

The main opposition party in the assembly, the Samajwadi Party, is targeting the Yogi government by accusing it of unemployment, corruption and neglect of farmers. The Congress, out of power in the state for 32 years, is also not behind in besieging the government. Congress General Secretary and UP in-charge Priyanka Gandhi is united day and night to return the lost political land.

In order to take the pledges of Congress to every courtyard, the party is going to hold a pledge conference. National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address these ‘Congress Pratigya Sammelan-Lakshya 2022’ going to be held in Bulandshahr tomorrow and on November 15 in Moradabad. There is also Priyanka Gandhi’s in-laws in Moradabad, who will be seen on the political stage there for the first time.

Giving this information, State Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu said that in the last three years, the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee under the leadership of National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi not only fixed the accountability of the government by vigorously raising the issues of the general public, but also strengthened the organization. The work has also been done on a large scale.

Under the ‘Organization Creation’ program, the party has prepared an army of hardworking workers and office bearers from district, block, justice panchayat to gram sabha. Whether it has been the crisis of Corona or the suppression of farmers, the question of women’s safety or the increasing crime in the state, or the fight of the unemployed, the Congress soldiers are fighting on every front to make the public’s mourning power.

Let us tell you that the Congress had fought the 2017 assembly elections together with the Samajwadi Party. The party’s performance was disappointing. Had to be content with only 7 seats in the state. Talking about the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress could not do any special charisma, winning one seat in the state.
