Big action on tiger hunting in Bandhavgarh, four arrested

Umaria. A big case of tiger poaching has come to light in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve of Madhya Pradesh. In the action of a joint team of Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) Jabalpur, Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and Katni Forest Department, four accused have been caught with tiger nails and canine teeth.

The arrested accused include Tukaram Vishwakarma, resident of Chhindiya Tola Barhi in Katni district and Rajesh Pathak of Singhanpura Vijayraghavgarh, along with Nakul Soni, resident of Indwar in Umaria district and Santosh Kol, resident of Bharewa.

It is being told by the alleged journalist and Congress leader that one of the four accused arrested in the tiger poaching case, Tularam Vishwakarma, is an alleged journalist and president of Congress Backward Classes.

At present, the accused are being interrogated by registering primary forest crime case number 351/17 under Wildlife Protection Act 1972, under 9, 39, 52 against the arrested accused.
