Corona Review Meeting: Review meeting called regarding the status of corona infection is over, PM Modi said these important things

Pallavi Jha, New Delhi: In view of the increasing threat of corona infection and Omicron variants in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation of Kovid-19 epidemic in a special meeting on Sunday. In this meeting, the Prime Minister called for special focus on preparedness in view of the increase in Omicron variant-induced Kovid cases.

Ensure adequate health facilities at district level: PM

Accelerate the vaccine campaign for adolescents in mission mode: PM

Ensure continuity of non-COVID health services and take advantage of telemedicine to ensure availability of health guidance to people in remote and rural areas: PM

Call for meeting with Chief Ministers to discuss state-specific scenarios, best practices and public health response: PM

Continued mass movement, stay focused on COVID appropriate behavior in our on-going fight against COVID-19: PM

Let us inform that in this review meeting, apart from Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, DG of ICMR and other senior officials were present.
