Ingredients for making Paneer Kolhapuri-

-250 grams fresh cottage cheese

-4 tomatoes

-1/2 cup dry coconut grated

-2 tsp sesame

-1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp saunf

-2 green chilies

1 inch piece ginger

-1/4 cup cashew nuts

-1 large cardamom

-2 green cardamom

-4 cloves

-8 black pepper

1 inch cinnamon

-2 whole red chilies

-1/2 tsp red chili powder

-1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

-2 to 3 tbsp green coriander

-1/4 tsp nutmeg powder

-1 pinch asafoetida

– salt to taste


Paneer Kolhapuri Recipe –

To make this, first of all cut the paneer into square shaped pieces.

After this, you also cut the onion and tomato into small pieces.

Then you take a pan and heat it on medium flame.

After this, dry roast cinnamon, nutmeg powder, cardamom, coriander, clove, big cardamom in it.

Then add sesame seeds and grated coconut to it and fry till golden brown.

After this, take out this whole mixture in a vessel and keep it aside.

After this, put some oil in the pan and heat it.

Then add onion and garlic to it and fry it well.

After this, you turn off the gas by adding green coriander to it.

Then add water to these roasted spices and roasted onion-garlic and grind it in a mixer.

After this, put oil in the pan and heat it on medium heat.

Then you add tomatoes to it and fry it lightly.

After this, add a pinch of asafoetida, red chili powder and turmeric to it.

Then you put the prepared Kolhapuri masala and water in it.

After this you cook it well for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Keep in mind that its gravy should not be too thin.

Then add salt to it as per taste and mix well.

After this, add the pieces of paneer already prepared in it and mix it in the gravy with light hands.

Then you cook it well for about 10 minutes and then turn off the gas.

Now your delicious Paneer Kolhapuri is ready.

Then you serve it hot with naan, paratha or roti.
