Strictness on violators of Corona guidelines, challans of more than Rs 74 lakh deducted in a day in Delhi

Amit Pandey, New Delhi: Despite the ever-increasing threat of corona infection, there does not seem to be any reduction in the carelessness of the people. In the national capital Delhi, the administration has started taking strict steps to deal with such people.

Please tell that this challan has been collected only on one day i.e. on 9 January.

It is worth noting that most cases of violation of Corona guidelines have come from South Delhi and East Delhi, on January 9, due to non-applying of masks, maximum challans were deducted in South Delhi and East Delhi.

748 cases of violation of corona rules were seen in South Delhi and 701 in East Delhi, which was the highest among the total 11 districts of Delhi.

In total 3732 cases of not applying mask, not following physical distance and spitting in public places, a fine of 74,25,900 has been imposed by the administration on the last day i.e. on January 9 and a total of 14 FIRs have also been registered.

In view of the increasing number of corona cases in Delhi, some important decisions have been taken in the meeting of DDMA. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal, tweeted in the context of these decisions, that in view of the increasing cases of Corona, it was decided to close the restaurant and bar and allow only ‘Take Away’ facility. It was also decided to allow opening of only one weekly market per day in each zone. Demanded the Health Department to make adequate arrangements for additional manpower in hospitals and to promote vaccination of people of 15-18 years.
