At the same time, this film directed by Kabir Khan is reaching close to Rs 200 crores at the worldwide box office. After 18 days of its release, the sports drama has now collected Rs 180.70 crore worldwide. The film was released on 24 December in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
As of Sunday, January 9, the Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer has crossed Rs 100.56 crore at the box office in India and Rs 180.70 crore worldwide. According to a tweet by business and trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan, 83 has collected Rs 180 crore at the worldwide box office. Sharing the news, Reliance Entertainment, one of the production houses backing 83, took to its official Twitter account and tweeted that the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India. “India scored a century!”
For information, let us tell you that this film has been released in more than 3000 theaters on 24 December 2021. Apart from Hindi, the film has also been released in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. This is the third week of the release of the film and coming in the third week, the film has crossed the hundred crore mark at the Indian box office. However, the Hindi film Suryavanshi, which was released earlier in 2021, had joined the club of 100 crores in its second week itself.
