Passengers coming from abroad will now be quarantined for 7 days, will remain in force till further orders – home quarantine mandatory for all international arrivals in India from today amid coroan and omicron variant

New Delhi: The havoc of new variants of Corona and Corona, Omicron, is increasing continuously all over the world including India. The Central as well as the State Governments are continuously taking precautionary steps to break the uncontrollable pace of Corona. In this episode, the Government of India has issued new guidelines for travelers coming from abroad.

According to this, all the travelers coming from abroad will have to remain in home quarantine for 7 days. RT-PCR test of the passengers will be done on the 8th day. These guidelines have been issued from today.

In this regard, the Health Ministry has issued a statement saying that revised guidelines have been issued for international travelers, so that the infection of corona can be prevented.

The Health Ministry said that in view of the serious situation of Corona, it has been decided that those coming from abroad will not be allowed to move out or roam around immediately. They will have to be in home quarantine first. Eight days after this, it will be necessary to conduct RT-PCR test.
