7th Pay Commission: Government is preparing to give a big gift to the central employees, it may be announced soon!

New Delhi: The Modi government at the Center is soon preparing to give a big gift to lakhs of employees and pensioners of the Center. It is being told that the central government may soon increase the dearness allowance soon. According to reports, the central government may not only increase the DA of the employees but also increase the house rent allowance.

It is believed that the government can increase the dearness allowance of central employees by 3 percent and increase it from 31 percent to 34 percent. Not only this, the government can also take a quick decision regarding the DA arrears that have been pending for several months and pay it in a lump sum.

On the basis of the figures of inflation rate in December 2021, 3 percent increase in DA of government employees is believed to be fixed. With the increase of 3% DA, the salary of the employees will increase by 20 thousand rupees.

Meanwhile, the Labor Ministry has changed the base year of 7th Pay Commission from 1963-65 to 2016. The Labor Ministry has said that the new series of WRI with base year 2016=100 will replace the old series of base year 1963-65. Due to this the method of calculation of dearness allowance will change. This will give more benefit to the employees.

The employees have been demanding the stuck money of DA arrears for a long time. Meanwhile, there are reports that the government may take a decision on this issue around January 26. It is being told that the government can pay the DA arrears in a lump sum.

If this happens, the employees will get a benefit of up to Rs 2 lakh. The DA arrears of Level-1 employees ranges from Rs 11880 to Rs 37554. At the same time, if money is added for Level-13 and Level-14, then an employee will be paid Rs 144200 to Rs 218200 of DA arrears.

According to the information, talks were held between National Council of JCM, Department of Personnel and Training and Ministry of Finance in this regard. However, no concrete answer has been received yet. JCM says that talks are going on with the government and it is expected that talks can be held with the cabinet secretary soon on this issue.

The National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM) has put forth a demand in front of the government that while restoring the DA, one time settlement should also be done on the pending DA arrears of 18 months. If Prime Minister Modi gives this green signal, then a huge amount can come this year in the account of the employees.

Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary (Staff Side) of the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM), says that if we talk about Level 1 employees, then the arrears on DA are between Rs 11880 to Rs 37554. The same if we talk about level 13 employees, then their basic pay is made between Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900.

Significantly, the matter of 18 months arrears has reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now PM Modi will decide regarding the arrears. The Pensioners Forum of India has also written a letter to the Prime Minister regarding arrears payment. The BMS has appealed to the Prime Minister to intervene in this matter and direct the Finance Ministry to release the arrears of DA, DR withheld between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 at the earliest. We would be extremely grateful for immediate action in this matter.
