Now news is being received that BJP will release its first list of candidates for Punjab elections on Friday evening. BJP’s Punjab in-charge Dushyant Gautam has confirmed this.
BJP National General Secretary Giving detailed information about this, Tarun Chugh has said that- 12 candidates belonging to farmer family, 8 tickets to Scheduled Castes community, 13 tickets to Sikhs have been given. The list includes doctors, lawyers, sportspersons, farmers, youth, women and former IAS.

Now the Commission has decided to reschedule the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly of Punjab in the following manner: Date of Notification: 25 January 2022 (Tuesday). Last date for nomination: 1 February 2022 (Tuesday), date of scrutiny: 2 February 2022 (Wednesday), date of withdrawal: 4 February 2022 (Friday) and date of voting: 20 February 2022 (Sunday).” Will be on 10th March.
