Ingredients for making Bikaneri Wheat Dal Khichdi-

– Whole wheat 1/2 cup

Yellow moong dal 3-4 tbsp

Green chili cut into 1 pieces

– Whole 1 red chili

– Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

– salt to taste

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

– a pinch of asafoetida

– Ghee (for cooking)

-coriander leaves (optional)

Recipe to make Bikaneri Wheat Dal Khichdi-

To make this, first of all, soak the wheat overnight.

Then you grind it to make a thick and grainy paste.

After this, wash and soak the moong dal for an hour.

Then in a pressure cooker, add a little water to the wheat and lentils.

After this, add turmeric powder and salt to it and cook it by adding it together.

Then you add the tempering of cumin, green chili, red chili and asafoetida and pour it over the prepared khichdi.

Now your Bikaneri Wheat Dal Khichdi is ready.

Then garnish it with green coriander and serve it hot with curd or pickle.
