Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday announced a tax of 30 percent on any earnings from this digital asset. Also, no exemption of any kind will be allowed in this.

Apart from this, the Finance Minister announced that TDS of 1 percent will also be levied on the transfer of virtual digital assets. Although people associated with the field expected from this budget that rules related to crypto could be brought, but at the moment it did not happen.
